Boboye: I Wanted To Work With Osho (AUDIO)

Newly appointed Technical Adviser of Remo Stars Kennedy Boboye has told busybuddiesng.com that he had hoped to work together with Fatai Osho – the man he replaced as Technical Adviser and says Osho’s departure is “a big loss to the team”.

Osho reportedly left the club he brought up to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after he viewed as an effective demotion, the club’s decision to draft in Boboye into the technical staff as the club sought a perfect backroom combination to ensure survival in what is shaping up to be an extremely competitive season.

In the wake of Osho’s abrupt resignation, Boboye was unveiled as the new Technical Adviser on a one year deal and the man who led Plateau United to the NPFL title in 2017, paid tribute to his predecessor for his work at the club and wished him well for the future.

“[Osho’s departure] is a big loss to the team but you know, I was coming to make sure we put heads together, do things right and take the club to limelight but he has made his decision and I think I respect his decision and he is one person that I give respect to.

“At the same time, I have to congratulate him for doing a very good job by assembling the quality of players that I met on ground, I wish him well in anywhere he is thinking of going to.”
