Bilic On The Edge After Brighton Thrashing

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic is under the risk of losing his job after his team plunged into further misery following their hapless performance which culminated in a 3-0 defeat to newly promoted outfit Brighton & Hove Albion at the Olympic Stadium in a league match on Friday night.

The hosts started in a lethargic manner and they paid dearly for that after Brighton striker Glen Murray opened his league account for the season to give his side a 10th minute lead. Record signing Jose Izquierdo added a second goal on the stroke of halftime before Murray netted his brace to wrap up the game with fifteen minutes remaining.

The win is the first away success Brighton have recorded in the top flight for the first time since 1983 and are up to 10th on the table with 11 points while West Ham are perilously close to the relegation zone in 17th with 8 points only.
