Former world number one Novak Djokovic has been dealt a big blow ahead of next year’s Australian Open after an elbow injury ruled him out of the Qatar Open starting next week.

The Serbian tennis star has had a wretched time with injuries for the better part of the last one year and the latest news is a big blow to his comeback bid.

Novak Djokovic was hoping to use the tournament to work his way back to full fitness after a lengthy time on the sidelines.
