Former Super Eagles captain Kanu Nwankwo has called on the team to believe as they start their World Cup campaign in Russia later this week.

Gernot Rohr and his boys will play their opening Group D match against Croatia at the Kaliningrad Stadium in Kaliningrad on Saturday.

Kanu sent his message via his Instagram handle as follows: “The Super Eagles our dear team are in Russia and the boys are ready.”

“No stopping, KAN U Believe? it’s all about believe, believe, believe, I believe, do you believe? Let’s all support pray and give them all that will make them do us proud because I know one day Eagles will make us proud like papilo. We can do it.
