Bayern Munich, Man City, Real Madrid Battle To Sign James

European giants Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid have indicated their intentions to sign Chelsea captain Reece James in next year’s summer transfer window.

James has had several injury issues while at Stamford Bridge. He missed a huge chunk of the 2022/23 season as he played only 16 Premier League games last season.

He also missed the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar as result of the incessant injuries.

The 23 year old has also been out for majority of the 2023/24 campaign due to a hamstring problem.

Real Madrid view the defensive stalwart as one of the options for their right back position in their defensive department.

Despite Kyle Walker signing a new contract at Manchester City, the Pep Guardiola led side are also keen on recruiting James to their squad next season.
