Borussia Dortmund striker Michy Batshuayi has revealed that he was racially abused during the German club’s 1-1 draw at Atalanta in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League (UEL) round of 32 tie.
Batshuayi, who is on loan from Premier League champions Chelsea until the end of the season, made this known via his official Twitter handle.
The Belgian was able to help Dortmund book a last 16 spot with the 1-1 for a 4-3 aggregate victory over their Italian opponents.
