Kobe Bryant has added another trophy to his collection after he won an Oscar on Sunday.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend won the award for Best Animated Short Film with ‘Dear Basketball’ at the Academy Awards.

Dear Basketball is a six-minute film based on a poem written by Bryant and published in The Players Tribune in 2015, when he called time on his NBA career.

While speaking about the award in his acceptance speech, Bryant said: Kobe: “I know basketball players are supposed to just shut up and dribble…good to know we can do more than that.”
