Swiss tennis legend will attempt to win his 8th Basel Open title when he faces Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina in the final of the 2017 edition after both players secured straightforward wins in their respective semifinal clashes.

Federer saw off David Goffin of Belgium 6-1 6-2 to move into his 13th final at the Basel Open while Del Potro recorded a 6-4 6-4 victory over Croat Marin Cilic to book his place in the final.
