Barcelona’s Twitter and Facebook accounts were hacked in the early hours of Wednesday with posts announcing the signing of PSG forward, Angel Di Maria.
The hackers, who call themselves OurMine “Security Group” have taken responsibility for the hack, and also apologise to Barcelona “for the hoax”.
OurMine is a famous celebrity account hacking group that have hacked Netflix, WWE, CNN, YouTube, Game of Thrones, Facebook and also PlayStation accounts in the past.

Barcelona have since deleted the post, assuring their fans that they are “working to solve the problem as soon as possible”.
