Bale Set To Make Injury Return After Two Months

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale will make his return from a two-month injury layoff on Tuesday according to manager Zinedine Zidane.

Bale, who has been out with calf and thigh problems, will feature against third-tier Fuenlebrada in the Copa del Rey.

The 28-year old Welsh star has not played since Real’s 3-1 Champions League win at Borussia Dortmund on September 26.

Speaking on Bale, Zidane said: “The idea is that tomorrow he can play and he looks good.”

“As always he needs game time and how the matches go will determine what the best route for us to take is.” he added.

Zidane also spoke about his desire to see Bale alongside Ronaldo and Benzema. He said: “I want to see Gareth, Cristiano and Karim.”

“It has been a long time since I have seen them together.” he concluded.

Bale has scored 70 goals in 159 appearances for Real Madrid since moving from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
