AUDIO: Enugu Rangers Won’t Be Allowed To Relegate – Sylvanus Okpala

Rangers International coach, Sylvanus Okpala has promised fans of the team that the Flying Antelopes won’t be relegated this season.

The Enugu-based side got a morale boosting 1-1 draw against Gombe United last week and Okpala is confident of improving on that result this weekend.

“On Sunday, we will definitely beat Sunshine but the scores is what I cannot predict now. But am sure we will come out with a clear win,” the former Super Eagles midfielder stated.

“We would not allow Rangers to go on relegation. The players have made a promise and to stick to it.”

“They said, from now onwards, they would never lose a match again. We believe and by the special Grace of God, we would emerge victorious.”

He also appealed to fans of the club to keep supporting them as they continue to fly the colours of the team.

“Am using this medium to appeal to our brothers and sisters, lovers of football in Enugu state, the supporters of Rangers International to come and watch them play on Sunday by 4: pm.

“We would be grateful to see them. Rangers is for the Igbo race, it’s for the South East. It’s our pride, we would not allow it to fall,” Okpala concluded.

Rangers currently sit 15th on the log and host a resurgent Sunshine Stars, who have won two of their last three away games on Sunday.
