Atletico Madrid are to report title rivals Barcelona to world football’s governing body, FIFA, over their illegal approach for striker Antoine Griezmann.
Griezmann, 26, was heavily linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United in the summer before committing to Atletico till the end of the 2021/22 season.
According to Atletico, Spanish La Liga leaders Barcelona made an illegal approach thereby breaking FIFA regulations by speaking to people around the French international, including family members.
