UEFA Europa League (UEL) winners Atletico Madrid have won the Gotv Cup after they defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their clash on Tuesday night.

Arsenal midfielder Kelechi Nwakali shot the Super Eagles Team B into the lead with a stunning strike only for Angel Coreea to equalise almost immediately for Diego Simeone’s men as both teams played out a 1-1 draw at the interval.

club legend Fernando Torres scored on 64 minutes to help Atletico Madrid regain the lead in his last game for his boyhood club before substitute scored a wonderful goal to pull the 3-time African champions level with ten minutes remaining.

The Spanish LaLiga outfit, however, had the last laugh with the game’s winning goal courtesy Borja to seal the Gotv Cup title.
