Manchester United midfielder Ashley Young has been given a three-game ban after his altercation with Southampton forward Dusan Tadic.

Young and Tadic clashed during United’s goalless draw with Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.

Replays appeared to show the England international elbowing Tadic and that prompted an FA charge.

He will now miss the Premier League games against Everton (away) and Stoke City (home) as well as the FA Cup third round home tie with English Championship high flyers Derby County.
