
Real Madrid youngster, Marco Asensio has admitted snubbing Barcelona’s offer before signing for Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old sensation, who joined the Los Blancos from Mallorca in 2014, made his Real debut last year after spending the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons on loan at Mallorca and Espanyol respectively.
speaking to Cadena Cope, Asensio said: “There was an option to sign for Barcelona and other teams before I moved to Madrid,”

Since making his debut for Real, Asensio has gone on the become a prominent member of Zinedine Zidane’s side and also the Spanish national team.
Asked about this season’s UEFA Champions League favourites, he added: “Favourites for the Champions League? Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, PSG.”
