Asaba 2018: Zango Expresses Delight With First Gold Medal (Audio)

Fabrice Hugues Zango is delighted to have won his first gold medal after he won the men’s Triple Jump final on Saturday at the ongoing African Senior Athletics Championship at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.

The Burkina Faso athlete won the final of the event in 17.11m ahead of South African silver medallist Godrey Mokoena (16.83m) and Algerian bronze medallist Yasser Triki (16.78m).

Mamadou Dia of Mali (16.44m) and Jean Patrick Jonatha of Mauritius (16.41m) finished in 4th and 5th spot respectively.
