Amputee Football Nations Cup: Nigeria Held By Tanzania In Goalless Draw

The Special Eagles played out to a goalless draw against Tanzania on Sunday in the ongoing 2019 Cup of African Nations for Amputee Football (CANAF) holding in Angola.

The Nigeria Amputee team however lead the standings with seven points after victories in their opening two games against defending champions Liberia and Cameroon.

Hosts Angola follow with four points from two games ahead of their encounter with Liberia today.

Sierra Leone and Tanzania are both on four points apiece from three matches, defending champions Liberia have two points from the same number of games while Cameroon are bottom with zero points.

The Nigeria Amputee Football team take to the pitch on Monday, 7 October against Sierra Leone as they continue their bid for a first ever continental title.
