Ammeh needs reaction against Rivers United

Niger Tornadoes attacking winger, Wilfred Angel Ammeh has said his side will go all out to attack Nigeria’s Caf Confederation Cup hopeful, Rivers United.

The Ikon Allah Boys are hosts of the Pride of Rivers in midweek top-flight Matchday 23 clash at their adopted ground, Confluence Stadium in Lokoja.

Ammeh said his side have huge respect for the Port Harcourt landlords and their exploits on the continent but will duly match them for the three points at stake in the expected crunch encounter.

“We are known for attacking football even when we lost to them in Port Harcourt we attacked them from start to finish.

“So come on Wednesday there will not be any hiding place for the visitors as we will attack from the blast of the whistle aimed at getting the whole three points at stake.

“Despite the loss at newcomers, Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC on Sunday in IIorin we are in the right frame of mind to give Rivers United the toughest match in the on-going top-flight.

“The Port Harcourt side are bigger being in the continent, we will accord them due respect but will not fear them on the field of play.

“We will fight hard to grab the maximum points to further boost our placement on the league log.

“I know a lot of expectation is on me to get the goals I have always believe that football is a team game.

“We will work for each other and together we will be able to achieve the desired goal at the end of the match,” said Tornadoes marksman.

The Minna landlords are eighth on the 20-team top-flight on 33 points six behind league leaders, Plateau United.
