Akwa United defender Emmanuel Ariwachukwu has completed a transfer to Sudanese club Al Hilal Omdurman on a two-year deal.

Ariwachukwu, 24, joins the club who were recently crowned champions of the Sudani Premier League and will be one of two clubs representing Sudan in the 2018/2019 CAF Champions League. They are managed by the former Senegal head coach Lamine N’Diaye.

This would be the third time the former Niger Tornadoes defender will be making a move abroad having had stints in Bangladesh with Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in 2012/13 and with Indian club Churchill Brothers Salcette in 14/15.
