Aiteo Group and Confederation Of African Football (CAF) are in line to continue their partnership, which will make the energy company sponsors of the 2018 CAF Awards.

According to close reports, Aiteo will remain title sponsors of the annual CAF awards, stretching their partnership with Africa’s football governing body to two years.

The Awards Gala honours footballers, officials and administrators who distinguished themselves during the period under review [February 2018 – November 2018]

Aiteo are sponsors of the Nigerian FA Cup, as well as the Nigeria Football Federation. Their sponsorship of the 2017 CAF awards, held in January 2018, brought an end to over a decade CAF’s partnership with telecommunication brand Globacom.

CAF, on Monday, released the 11 categories of the awards.

2. Women’s Player of the Year

3. Youth Player of the Year

4. Men’s Coach of the Year

5. Women’s Coach of the Year

6. Men’s National Team of the Year

7. Women’s National Team of the Year

8. Goal of the Year

9. Africa Finest XI

10. Ydnekatchew Tessema Trophy for the Federation President of the Year

11. Platinum Award

This year’s award will be held on Tuesday, 8 January 2019 in Dakar, Senegal.
