Nigeria defender Ola Aina is ready for action again after returning to training at Premier League club Nottingham Forest.

The versatile defender was pictured in training with his teammates on Thursday.

Aina has been sidelined with an unnamed injury since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations last month.

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo claimed the former Torino star played the AFCON 2023 final against hosts Cote d’Ivoire with injury.

The 26-year-old has not make an appearance for the Tricky Trees since the 2-1 home win against Manchester United at the City Ground on December 30, 2023.

Aina has made 14 league appearances for Forest this season with one goal to his name.

The Reds will be away to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
