The Matchday Two of the first ever Mindgames Premier Scrabble League resumes this Saturday with 12 teams hoping to claim glory.

The teams comprising seven players apiece will meet at the Stonehedge Hotel, Abuja for the round of the league.

Table toppers Brainiacs led by Lovejoy Ogbuokiri will rely on the word power of Eta Karo and Tuoyo Mayuku to sustain their pole position in the league where a little slip could be costly with second-placed Team Supreme breathing down their neck. 

The Brainiacs go into Matchday Two on the strength of the 1910 points- spread it enjoyed on Matchday One after finishing with 9 wins and 3 defeats.

Expected to also throw in some challenges during the 12 rounds of game are; Teams Hurricanes, Gracious Pickers, Olowoyeye Predators, Phoenix, Airpopper FRSC Roadies, Bulldozers, and Lekki Bombers.

Tekena Drones who boast of current African champion Moses Peter in their fold will hope to gather some momentum in the race to the top.

Peter recently found his word magic at the Mindgames Premier Championship Qualifying Tournament in Port-Harcourt last weekend where he emerged champion.

A total prize of three million naira is on offer with the winners guaranteed a top prize of one million naira.
