AFN Boss, Okowa Hails Amusan’s ‘Great Diamond League 100m Hurdles Feat’

Chief Tonobok Okowa, President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, AFN, has heaped plaudits on Tobi Amusan following her ‘great’ 12.33secs 100m Hurdles performance at the concluded Diamond League, on Sunday, reports.

The World Champion silenced her critics as she dusted others to win the women’s 100m hurdles event at the Diamond League final at the Hayward Field Stadium, Eugene, Oregon, USA.

Amusan ran 12.33secs ahead of competitors to clinch her 3rd Diamond League title, thus, becoming the second woman to win a 100m hurdles hat-trick title after Dawn Nelson-Harper.
