Sportswear manufacturing giants Adidas have followed in the footsteps of their rivals Nike after they announced the transfer of Argentina forward Paolo Dybala.

Nike had earlier jumped the gun with their unofficial announcement of Philippe Coutinho’s move to Barcelona and only time will tell if Adidas’ unofficial announcement about Dybala’s move to Manchester United from Italian champions Juventus will come to reality.

The announcement was made via the official Twitter handle of Adidas UK. The tweet read: “New Predator, new club, new challenge. Welcome Dybala to the theatre of Dreams”
