Adepoju Congratulates Former La Liga Trio On Ambassadorial Appointment

La Liga Nigeria Country Manager, Mutiu Adepoju, has congratulated three former stars following their ambassadorial appointment.

Diego Forlan, Steve McManaman and Robert Pires are the latest addition to the Spanish La Liga ambassadorial family and former Super Eagles midfielder Adepoju wasted no time in welcoming them to the fold.

The former 3SC Team Manager took to his official Twitter handle to congratulate the former La Liga stars. He tweeted: “A night to always remember. I am proud to be an ambassador of LaLiga. Welcome on board @DiegoForlan7 , Steve McManaman & @piresrobert7 #LaLigaAmbassadors.”

16 former La Liga stars including Mutiu Adepoju had earlier been made ambassadors in October 2016 and that number has been swelled by the new additions.

The other ambassadors are Frederick Kanoute, former Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes, David Albelda, Xavi Hernandez, Michel Salgado, Kiko, Carles Puyol, Vero Boquete, Ismael Urzaiz, Cesar, Marcos Senna, Christian Karembeu, Milinko Pantic, Gaizka Mendieta and David Villa.

The star-studded group of ambassadors is managed by Fernando Sanz.
