Seven-time European champions AC Milan have completed the transfer of attacking duo, Diego Laxalt and Samu Castillejo ahead of the new Italian Serie A season scheduled to kickoff on Saturday.
Uruguayan attacking midfielder Laxalt joins the club from fellow Italian top flight side Genoa, while Spanish winger Castillejo signs from La Liga outfit Villareal.
Both players have joined the San Siro club on respective permanent deals.
Former Spanish youth international Samu Castillejo, 23, will wear the no. 7 shirt for the season, while 10-cap Uruguayan international Diego Laxalt has been handed the no. 93 jersey.
Both players will hold a press conference later today, alongside Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko.
According to the Italian giants, the latest transfers complete the club’s incoming signings for the current transfer window.
