AC Milan Complete Swoop For Defensive Duo

Italian Serie A giants AC Milan have made their first signings of the summer after the seven-time European champions confirmed the transfers of defensive duo Pepe Reina and Ivan Strinic.

Goalkeeper Reina and left back Strinic team up with AC Milan after they came to the end of their contracts at Napoli and Sampdoria respectively.

Both players have signed a three-year deal at the club until June 30, 2021 as the Rossoneri had reached an agreement with them as far back as March.

AC Milan reached an agreement with 30-year-old Strinic on the 2nd of March before doing the same with 35-year-old Reina on March 16.

Strinic is presently with Croatia at the ongoing FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia and has made three appearances, while Reina didn’t make any appearance for Spain before they crashed out of the tournament to hosts Russia in the first knockout stage.
