2026 WCQ: ‘We Still Have A Chance’ — Ndidi Upbeat Super Eagles Not Out

Wilfred Ndidi says the Super Eagles still have a good chance of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup despite their stuttering start.

The three-time African champions continued their poor start to the qualifiers after playing out a 1-1 draw with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Uyo on Friday.

The West Africans remain winless in Group C after three draws from three games.

Ndidi maintained the group is till wide open despite their position on the log.

“The group is still wide open, we still have a chance (to qualify),” the Leicester City player said after the game.

The Super Eagles will be away to the Squirrels of Benin Republic in their next game at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Sunday.
