
Newly invited Super Eagles defender, Jordan Torunarigha has revealed that he’s ready to prove his worth if given the opportunity to play against Sao Tome and Principe in Sunday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo.
After made 31 appearances for Germany from U-15 to U-21 levels, Torunarigha, switched allegiance to represent Nigeria at senior international level, in a bid to follow in the footsteps of his father, Ojokojo Torunarigha.
However, in a chat with NFF TV, the 26-year-old KAA Gent centre-back has described the mood in the Super Eagles camp as peaceful.
He also noted that the duo of William Troost-Ekong and Jamiu Collins have made it easy for him to gel with the team.
