2021 AFCONQ: Nigeria vs Sierra Leone Set For Godswill Akpabio Stadium – Reports

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will host the Lone Star of Sierra Leone on matchday 3 of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo according to emerging reports.

It was earlier speculated that the match will hold at the refurbished Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

A team from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) inspected the stadium recently.

However, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is yet to approve the stadium for continental fixtures.

The match against Sierra Leone is scheduled to kick off at 5pm.

Nigeria began their 2021 AFCON qualification campaign with a 2-1 victory over Benin Republic at the Nest of Champions before going on to dispatch Lesotho 4-2 at the Setsoto Stadium in Maseru.
