2021 AFCON: Nigeria Qualify With Two Games To Spare

The Super Eagles have qualified for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations following the goalless draw between Lesotho and Sierra Leone earlier on Saturday.

The draw meant three-times Champions Nigeria who lead Group L with eight points booked their place in Cameroon with two goals to spare.

Gernot Rohr’s side who are currently playing Benin Republic needed just a point from their final two qualifiers to book a spot in Cameroon, but the stalemate in Maseru handed ushered them into Africa’s showpiece tournament before they kicked a ball in Porto Novo.

The Super Eagles face Lesotho in their final AFCON qualifier at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos on Tuesday.
