The Nigeria Amputee Football team, the Special Eagles, are through to the semifinal of the ongoing 2019 Cup of African Nations for Amputee Football (CANAF) holding in Angola after a 1-0 victory over Sierra Leone on Monday.
Kelvin Kingsley scored the winner for the Special Eagles with his third goal of the campaign to set up a scintillating showdown against tournament hosts and reigning World Cup champions Angola.
Nigeria, on their return to the competition after a six-year hiatus, are unbeaten in four games following victories over defending champions Liberia, Cameroon and a goalless draw with Tanzania.
The semifinal clash against Angola comes up on Tuesday, October 8.
