The venues for 2018 UEFA Euro u-17
in England has been revealed with Chesterfield hosting the opener and Rotherham staging the final.
Other venues for the annual tournament scheduled for May 4-20 include Burton Albion, Walsall, St George’s Park and Loughborough University
Spain are the defending champions after they defeated England earlier this year but the latter went on to win the Under-17 World Cup on Saturday following a 5-2 victory over Spain.
England, winners in 2010 and 2014, will be hosts for the first time and they will be joined by 15 other nations.
Speaking about the tournament, UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin said:
“I am very happy that the finals are being staged in England.”
“The Football Association are experienced hosts of major football events, and we are all looking forward to an exciting and entertaining tournament.” he added.
