Ghana have set up a quarterfinal clash with fellow West African side Mali after they defeated Niger Republic 2-0 at the ongoing FIFA u-17 World Cup in India.
Ben Ayiah netted his 3rd goal of the tournament to give the junior Black Stars the lead before Richard Danso wrapped up the victory to secure Ghana’s place in the last eight.
Brazil are also through after their 3-0 win over Honduras courtesy goals from Brenner (2) and Marcos Antonio. They will face Germany in mouthwatering quarterfinal clash.
