2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup: England, France Qualify For Next Round

England and France have qualified for the second round of the ongoing FIFA u-17 World Cup in India after respective victories over Mexico and Japan on Matchday 6.

Highly rated Borussia Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho scored one of the goals as England booked a last 16 place with a 3-2 win over Mexico in Group F. Sancho has now scored three goals in two appearances at the tournament.

In the other group game, Iraq thrashed Chile 3-0 with Mohammed Dawoud Yassen getting two goals to take his tally to three goals in two games.

France are also through to the last 16 after forward Amine Gouini scored a brace to help his side to a 2-1 win over Japan thus taking his tournament tally to four goals as the leading goalscorer.
