2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup: Brazil And Spain Secure Final Last Four Spots

Brazil and Spain have secured the final two slots in the last four of the ongoing FIFA u-17 World Cup in India after their respective quarterfinal wins over Germany and Iran.

Favourites Brazil came from a goal down to beat Germany 2-1 thereby sealing a mouthwatering semifinal clash with the junior Three Lions of England to determine who will play in the final.

Jann Fiete-Arp gave the Germans a first half lead to notch his 5th goal of the tournament and that was how it remained until Brazil got two second half goals within six minutes to turn the game on its head.

In the other last eight clash played on Sunday, Barcelona B star Abel Ruiz scored the opener as he helped Spain beat Asian side Iran 3-1. The Spanish team will next face West African opposition in the form of Mali in the semis.
