2017 CAF African Footballer Of The Year: Top Three Nominees’ Announcement Date Revealed

The top three nominees for the 2017 CAF African Footballer of the Year will be revealed at a ceremony in Accra, Ghana, on December 18.

This was revealed by the Confederation of African Footballer (CAF) on Sunday.

Several African stars like Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Victor Moses, Naby Keita, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and many more are in the running as part of an 11-man shortlist released earlier this year.

Apart from Victor Moses, other Nigerian stars in the running for various CAF awards include Asisat Oshoala (Women’s Player of the Year), Junior Ajayi (African Player Based in Africa), Super Eagles (Team of the Year) and Eagles coach Gernot Rohr (Coach of the Year).

The AITEO/CAF Awards 2017 ceremony will be staged in Accra, Ghana on January 4.
