2017 AITEO CAF Awards: Salah, Aubameyang And Mane Make Top 3 Shortlist

The trio of Mohamed Salah, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sadio Mane have all being named in the list of final three nominees for African Player of the Year Award.

The list was revealed earlier today following the unveiling of the final three nominees for the 2017 AITEO CAF Awards scheduled for January 2018.

In the Coach of the Year category, Super Eagles of Nigeria head coach, Gernot Rohr, will battle Hector Cuper (Egypt) and L’Hussein Amoutta while Nigeria’s U-20, Falconets, will have to beat South Africa and Ghana’s U-20 to the Women’s National Team of the Year Award.

 

In the Women’s Player of the Year category, Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala, Chrestina Kgatlana (South Africa) and Gabrielle A. Onguene (Cameroon) made the final three shortlist.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria, African champions Cameroon and Egypt made the final three in the National Team of the Year category.

The 2017 AITEO CAF Awards is scheduled to take place on January 4, 2018 in the Ghanaian capital of Accra.
